HW-02 · Vented cylinder bay
Gas cabinet
800 mm double-door cabinet with a gas cylinder holder and a base vent. LPG is heavier than air, so a vent at the top of a box does nothing for a leaking cylinder — the gas sits at the bottom and stays there.

What it does
Vented at the base, where gas actually collects
800 mm double-door cabinet with a gas cylinder holder and a base vent. LPG is heavier than air, so a vent at the top of a box does nothing for a leaking cylinder — the gas sits at the bottom and stays there.

- Gas cylinder holder included

Next to the grill
The hose leaves the grill on one side — the cylinder belongs on that side, or one module away with a service loop.
End of a run
At the open end your fitter has access without pulling modules out.
Under a side burner

Questions about this module
What cylinder size fits?
Up to 10 L, held in the cylinder holder that comes with the module. The oven cabinets have less internal headroom — a maximum of 4 L — so if your bottle is larger than that, this is the cabinet.
Does a gas cabinet need ventilation?
Yes, and at the base. LPG is heavier than air, so a low-level vent lets a leak escape downward rather than accumulating inside the box. A vent at the top of a cabinet does nothing for a leaking cylinder.
Does the gas fitter need to be licensed?
In most countries yes, and in all of them it should be. We supply the cabinet; the connection, the regulator and the pressure test are local licensed work.

What usually sits next to it
Because every module shares the same height and depth, any of these lines up without adjustment.
